Description
Age up to feudal slower in order to secure a boar before the 5 minute mark and quickly get into castle age. Works well against French and other civs where you might expect early pressure since they won't have any military to deny you by the time you're going for the boar.

Notes
* The castle timing on this is variable depending on how far the boar is/how much idle time your opponent forces, but age up usually starts between 7:30-8:30. * After you age up, you will need to re-orient your macro based on what unit comp you've decided to roll with. Below are the vill distributions to constantly produce either 3 Knights, MAA, or Horse Archers. Remember you'll also have to do some trading to get the knight upgrade and get a few Warrior Monks out, and you'll need another 4 on food for vill production. * 3 Knights = 20f/14g vills * 3 MAA = 22f/5g * 3 HA = 18f/9w * If you go mass HA to start, you'll eventually want to transition to knights, but you should prioritize getting Boyar's Fortitude after ranged damage upgrades since HA have no gold cost and you should be passively generating gold via relics and hunting cabins. * If facing a knight/archer all-in, go for knights since castle knights are better than feudal, but try to delay a fight for as long as possible so you have enough of a mass to fight. * If going HA, get ranged damage upgrades, otherwise go for ranged armor so you can better run the knights/MAA under TC fire. * In the linked video, once he sees his opponent going 2TC, he puts a few vills on gold. This can speed up timing, but I've found most French players lean heavy into aggro and this isn't possible to do most games.
